Meet the new addition to the family; her name is Wednesday! Winnie! Factoid: Solid black pugs are the second rarest, and Finnigan is apricot which is the rarest. I love both! She’s as rambunctious as she is a fast learner. She also likes swimming, which is ultra rare for pugs.

Moogs in the mountains was stellar, and I made reservations 3 months in advance at Casa Bonita, Cartman’s favorite restaurant from South Park, which was neat. ¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!

Our pal Benn posted a video that is worthy of signal boosting. As artists and fellow travelers in the creative realms, we have to look out for ourselves by making smart choices because lawyers are expensive; notably, entertainment law is inaccessible to most, and courts, let alone future changes in legislation, are always a gamble, but betting on it not to err on the side of the little guy is a safe hedge. In the words of the RZA, protect your neck.
Alternatively,
I regret to inform you that the distro an ancestor used for “MIAMI TWERKZILLA VOL 8,” “SELECTED AMBIENT WORKS OF QUEEF,” and “ANTHEMS FOR DYSGENGICS TO STROKE THEIR CHINS CONTEMPLATIVELY” didn’t realize they gave away your life rights and all things created within it to whoever won the AI race indefinitely. You know that picture you colored for your mom when you were a toddler? The one that was on the fridge? Elon Musk owns that now (the fridge too), and as a great-grandchild of this ancestor, you are being sued for intellectual property infringement due to using what was formerly your birth name. This is the future Pep Pep chose, freestyling with the clickies. Should have watched that video from Benn Flashbulb; now get in the cattle car. Benn has moved away from doing geartube videos and doing long-form essays on really good subjects. Give dat boi a sub and ring the bell.
Seeing as we are all hitting that salt & pepper distinguished middle phase, I start to notice more and more homies like Benn going off-grid in the sticks or working towards it. Collecting our cosmopolitan traumas and neuroticisms like Katamari to roll in the hyper-rural and disentangle. Perhaps we could unionize under the banner Middle Aged Electronic Artists Against Electricity. MAEAAE phonetically sounds like an old man’s grunt even!
Some of my progress in the last year:
-Unincorporated land is the only land worth owning for off-grid endeavors, imo.
-Septic System
-Water Well
free; water purification is done via a pre-filter and a secondary very large industrial coconut filter, whose purpose is to preserve the 10-stage reverse osmosis. RO isn’t advised for wells due to all the sand and dirt degrading them too fast and that approach changes that. The final step is I put alkaline minerals added back from a canister. I consistently hit about 40 units of total dissolved solids (TDS) from the tap which is really good for where I am.
-Swimming pool that is always free to fill because of the well
-Amplified omnidirectional rooftop antennas, i.e., free broadcast television around roughly a 100-150 mile radius. Tablo is the only non-subscription-based DVR currently. They work for radios too. Weather is sooo important on the prairie. I install mine in the attic to protect them from the harsh climate.
-This joint is a wood-burning stove adventure. I went on and did lots of ceiling fans for circulation. I estimate a range of at least $200 in monthly electric savings for my use case. They say wood stoves get you hot twice because you have to chop wood all the time. I can now confirm it is true. Sawbucks are a game changer for processing firewood. Wood stove heat warms your bones right. Electric heat feels souless and artificial.

I wanted to go for more of an overland style on my Jeep and did new fenders and inner fenders. It took about 20 hours and was more challenging than I expected.

misc—new pinball machine, numbers gal, morel mushrooms I found, and my sunflowers coming in big this year.

Chicken coop construction, fencing, and pool deck are underway now. I ocassionlly do more than freestyle the Beatport charts lulz. Being sober rocks! z~
